This is a brand new page. The old music that was here previously has been removed. If you are looking for a specific song and can't find it let me know.

I have included a bunch of classic rock songs recorded in my home studio. These are not professional recordings. This is a hobby. Please be kind. Let's rock. All files are MP3 format and compatible with just about any player (Windows Media, iTunes, Real, WinAmp, iPods...). These are all cover songs and the copyrights belong to the original artists and production companies.

The following songs are from my repertoire of frequently played songs. All guitars and vocals are me. The bass, drums and piano parts are pieced together from public domain midi, or professional backing tracks. All songs performed, recorded and mixed at my home studio.

The following songs all feature my newest guitar "Suzie". Suzie is a Fender Custom Telecaster with twin dual Seymour Duncan humbucker pickups. This is a sweet guitar. I use it on all rhythm and lead guitar parts. I play it through a Line 6 PodXT Pro amp/speaker/effects emulation system and plug it directly into the mixer. In other words no real amplifiers are used. Ain't technology grand?

Mainstreet - This is a recent recording of the Bob Seger classic. I take some liberties with the vocals here. Vocally this isn't my best version ever but I like the guitar sounds. There are four different guitar tracks used throughout the song, all using the same Fender Custom Tele.

Wonderful Tonight - The classic Eric Clapton song. I like to play the song with assorted different sounds on the lead guitar track. The first link is the lead with a clean, tinny, Fender sound.

American Girl - The Tom Petty classic solo with one electric guitar. I love this song.

Under the Milky Way - The single US hit ever for the awesome band from Australia called "The Church". This is a very hard song to sing properly. I don't even come close, but I still enjoy it. There are two acoustic guitar tracks in the background. Both are my cheap Breedlove Korean made acoustic (one track capoed at fret 5).

Old Man - The Neil Young classic played solo live acoustic.

Creep - The Radiohead classic. Warning EXPLICIT lyrics. This is a haunting song. I do a simple a version with bass, drums and two haunting electric guitar tracks (with a third added in for the chorus).

Can't You See - The Marshall Tucker Band classic from the seventies. Done with a Hal Leonard Play Along track. I am playing the lead and rhytym electric guitars and singing. This needs work, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE jamming to southern rock.

Ohio - The clasic Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young war protect song. I toned down the protect and made the song a little "prettier".This was not a concious decision, it is just something Sue mentioned to me after listening. Sue is my number one fan and critic.

You and Me - A beatiful Neil Young love song. I recorded this for Sue. It is one of her favorites. She was rather fond of it!

Elderly Woman Behind a Counter in a Small Town - b;ahblah
